Autism West is Moving!

As many of you know, Autism West needed to find a new home, and we’re excited to advise that we have found one!

We have secured a fantastic space on the Ground Floor of Fremantle Hospital, Corner of South Terrace and Alma Street, Fremantle, 6160.

Whilst this is part of the main hospital building, we will have our own external entrance and courtyard, with the area being available exclusively for use by Autism West’s team and members.

This is a great location, accessible to public transport and close to cafes, the markets and supermarkets, restaurants, entertainment, and more, providing the chance to explore new and exciting excursions and activities!

We anticipate our move to the heart of Fremantle will add to the services we provide you, especially as we continue to explore collaborative relationships with local Fremantle businesses and organisations.

When will Autism West be moving?

We will be moving on 19 July 2017.

This is also the first week of Term 3 (after the July Holiday Makers Program wraps up).

We are focused on causing as little disruption to the commencement of our Term 3 social groups as possible. Further details of this will be communicated as details are finalised.

What will happen with to the Mosman Park Social Groups?

Commencing Term 3, the plan for our social groups is as follows:

• The Monday Awesome Group will move from Mosman Park to Claremont (address to be confirmed)
• All other social groups that were held at Mosman Park, including Step into Social, Creative Skills, Telethon Holiday Makers Program, and others, will relocate to our Fremantle space on Alma St
• Groups located in Marangaroo will continue as is
• Groups located at Hilton will relocate to our Fremantle space on Alma St
