As a new year kicks off, we wanted we’d take the opportunity to share with you a little more about Autism West, and what better way to do so then by introducing you to the team!First up is Alison Davis, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Autism West.
Alison has been with the organisation for just under two and half years. With a background in law, she has also spent a fair bit of time within the not-for-profit sector.
Alison loves working at Autism West because of the people she gets to work with, including the wonderful members, brilliant staff and volunteers. Her favourite part about the job is hearing from happy members about the impact the organisation has had on them.
For Alison, the highlight of 2016 was the Autism West ‘Rethinking Autism’ Symposium, and in 2017 she is looking forward to finding a new, permanent home for Autism West.
A little known fact about Alison is that she loves to write short stories in her spare time (and unfortunately there’s not much of that at the moment!).
