On 31 October 2017 ConnectGroups – Support Groups Association WA Inc. hosted its annual Support Groups National Awareness Day Expo at the Perth Cultural Centre.
The expo was not only an opportunity for Autism West to engage with community members, but it was a celebration and validation of Support Groups in WA.
Apryl and Janine attended on behalf of Autism West, and a great time was had networking with the other groups, sharing information and flyers, as well as meeting the public, all accompanied by some smooth live music.
Our new Street Smart, Life Smart: Bullying, Anxiety, Resilience & Coping program, with it’s first workshop being held on 11 November, was of particular interest to the public and other organisations.
