The Telethon Holiday Makers Program (THMP) is all about creating fun, inclusive experiences for autistic young people aged 5–18. Each holiday period, we offer a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster social connections in a supportive environment.

What’s On Offer?

Our Telethon Holiday Makers Program (THMP) combine advertised excursions and incursions with a range of on-the-day activities, giving participants the chance to:

• Try new hobbies and creative projects
• Join in active, adventure-filled experiences
• Explore special interests in a safe, social space
• Build friendships and enjoy positive social interactions

Every day is different! Alongside scheduled activities, we provide flexible options so participants can choose what interests them most.

July THMP intake has now concluded. Early EOIs for October THMP are now open. For activities, please check back at a later date.

Program Fees & Additional Costs

Our holiday program fee is subsidised thanks to the generous support of Telethon, making participation more accessible for families. Please note:

• Excursion and incursion costs are not included in the program fee and will be invoiced separately. These costs must be paid privately and cannot be claimed through NDIS funding.
• Attendance at the Telethon Holiday Makers Program may be covered by NDIS funds, depending on your plan and budget. We recommend checking with your plan manager.
• We are unable to support NDIA-managed plans.

Pricing Notice:
The hourly rates listed are current at the time of publication. Pricing is expected to increase in line with the upcoming SchADS Award rate changes in the new financial year. Any increase is anticipated to be minimal. Final hourly rates will be confirmed and communicated prior to the commencement of the July holiday program.

Activities may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, but we aim to keep changes minimal.

In addition to our advertised excursions and incursions, we offer a variety of on-the-day activities where participants can try new experiences in a supportive, social environment.
