Connection & Creativity for Wellbeing is a free, five‑week, neurodiversity‑affirming program designed for autistic and neurodivergent teen girls and gender‑diverse young people aged 15–18.
The program offers a safe, inclusive space for creative expression, mindfulness, and relaxed social connection. Our focus is on supporting participants to build emotional resilience, confidence, and self‑awareness, while feeling accepted and valued for who they are.
Sessions are designed to be low‑pressure and flexible, allowing participants to engage in ways that feel comfortable for them. There is no formal teaching, participants are encouraged to create at their own pace, take breaks as needed, and connect with others in a way that feels right.
Each weekly session may include:
Participants are also welcome to bring along any creative projects they are already working on.
The program is co‑designed and facilitated by experienced facilitators who understand neurodivergent experiences and prioritise wellbeing, autonomy, and strengths‑based participation.
Connection & Creativity for Wellbeing provides an opportunity for young people to slow down, explore creativity, and build meaningful connections in a supportive, affirming environment.
This program is made possible with the support of the City of Fremantle.
