Glow & Flow is a free, inclusive silent disco event designed specifically for neurodivergent young people aged 10–18, delivered as part of Youth Week WA.
This sensory‑considerate celebration creates a safe and welcoming environment where autistic and neurodivergent young people can socialise, express themselves, and have fun in ways that feel comfortable for them. Glow & Flow celebrates the creativity, resilience, and individuality of our community, offering a meaningful alternative to traditional youth events that can often feel overwhelming.
The event aligns with the goals of Youth Week WA, promoting belonging, empowerment, and inclusion for young people across Western Australia.
Glow & Flow is designed to support different sensory needs and social preferences, with participants free to engage in their own way.
Key features include:
🎧 Silent Disco: Wireless headphones with multiple music channels and individually adjustable volume
🧸 Chill‑Out Zone: Soft lighting, beanbags, sensory items, and quiet activities
🤝 Inclusive Environment: Welcoming staff trained in neurodiversity‑affirming support
🎨 Creative Expression: Opportunities to dance, move, observe, or simply enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace
There is no pressure to participate in any one way—young people can come and go between spaces and activities as they choose.
Registration details will be sent directly to eligible participants via email, please keep an eye on your inbox, as this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Glow & Flow is proudly supported by the Department of Communities as part of Youth Week WA, held from 10–16 April 2026.
